10gms Monofilament- for Diabetic patients

MONOFILAMENT (10gms/5.07)-MF10GM
(TO DETECT THE FOOT AT RISK IN DIABETES)

A mono filament is simple tool for testing the foot at risk for all the diabetes patients. The filament is calibrated to give 10gms pressure upon buckling and if the diabetic patients could sense this filament touch, then they are at less risk of loosing their limb.

In an effort to standardize and simplify the detection of insensate foot, the 5.07/10-gm monofilament is recommended by the International Diabetes Federation and the World Health Organization as a device that can be used by health professionals at every level of care.

This will be useful for the patients to try it at home and if they find any abnormal or not feeling the touch of monofilament they can immediately refer to the doctor so that major problems and complications can be prevented for all diabetes patients irrespective of their age, gender etc.,

This will last for 5 to 6 applications for a single patient and once the filament is bent can be disposed.
